« The Brooks Revel Max is a clear product of today's running shoe trend toward higher stacks, but Brooks took a different route than simply making the Revel taller. We found that it blends the DNA of the Revel and Ghost Max into a surprisingly cohesive package. In our experience, the high drop, plush foam, and beginner-friendly geometry make it especially appealing to heel strikers who want a protective, cheap daily trainer. We really liked the tough outsole and comfortable knit upper too, although the narrow fit limits its appeal for runners with wider feet. »
