« PUMA set the bar incredibly high with version 4, so the Velocity Nitro 5 had a tough act to follow. We really liked its bouncy ride, comfortable upper, agile feel, and versatile performance across different paces. However, we found in the lab that the small weight increase and lower energy return take away some of the magic from v4. And as usual, the snug fit won't suit runners with wide feet. Even so, we think the shoe remains a fantastic value, and it's one of the best daily trainers you can buy today. »
