« The Vomero Premium shows just how far Nike is willing to go in the name of innovation and hype. In our lab, we found that its colossal stack height and ultra-plush ZoomX foam deliver unmatched cushioning, yet the shoe feels undeniably bulky and slow. Despite all the buzz, our data showed it falls short of the "Alter G" sensation the brand promised as a breakthrough. From our perspective, this model makes little sense from a practical standpoint, but if you want a running shoe that looks and feels like it came from another planet, Nike just made it possible. »
