« Nike has completely changed the formula with the Pegasus Plus 2, and we think most runners will welcome the update. The new Air Zoom unit looks cool, while the extra cushioning and improved comfort make it a more versatile, everyday-friendly shoe. We found in the lab that the midsole performs nicely, although the added Air Zoom doesn't translate into a boost in energy return. Traction also disappointed us, although we can't say we're surprised. On the bright side, the lower price is welcome news, but we finished testing with the feeling that runners chasing those legendary Pegasus Turbo vibes still won't find them here. »
