« The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp LD-X v3 is one of the most interesting long-distance spikes on the market. In our lab tests, we discovered a rare combination of soft FuelCell foam, a stiff carbon plate, and a moderate drop that gives it a more road-shoe-like feel than most rivals. However, we think that the plush foam may not suit runners who prefer a more direct feel, and the premium price in some markets is difficult to overlook. »
