« The HOKA Clifton PRO is what we wish the regular Clifton had become, but the PRO name sets expectations that the shoe doesn't fully meet. We found in the lab enhanced energy return, but it still doesn't feel PRO enough, while the limited traction is another PRO...blem. We really liked the comfortable upper and its excellent breathability, making the shoe especially appealing for hot-weather days. However, the higher price is a tough ask, and we think HOKA needs stronger tech to make this a shoe truly worthy of its name. »
