In our lab and road tests, the new DNA Gold foam delivered an improved ride with better shock absorption and energy return than before. The shoe feels plush yet responsive underfoot, and its premium knit upper offers glove-like comfort that feels both high-performance and everyday-friendly. We believe Brooks should focus on shedding a few grams and fine-tuning stability in future iterations, but even so, it’s clear that they made a massive stride in the right direction. »
