« The Ghost Amp has a clear goal: challenge the new wave of responsive daily trainers led by the EVO SL. However, we found that Brooks missed the mark where it matters most: the foam. We really liked the premium knit upper, excellent comfort, and beautiful design, but the new midsole simply doesn’t deliver enough bounce. Our lab testing confirmed this with low energy return, making the shoe feel less exciting than its main rivals. Ultimately, it’s an enhanced Ghost at a fair price, but Brooks needs to add more pop to the midsole for the Amp to truly stand out. »
