« ASICS took a different approach from most brands and essentially built a Metaspeed for the track. And it worked. We found in the lab that the LD 2 blends a fast, spring-loaded ride with a level of comfort rarely seen in track spikes. We really liked the secure fit, road-shoe-inspired feel, and snappy carbon plate, all of which helped the shoe perform wonderfully during long efforts. However, the high price is hard to overlook, particularly when it arrives without the latest foam technology from ASICS. »
