« The ASICS Metafuji Trail 2 delivers one of the best upper-and-outsole we've ever tested. We were impressed by its lightweight build, responsive ride, massive protection, and head-turning design. However, our testing also revealed important trade-offs, especially the eye-watering price, cramped toebox, and limited stability. It's a thrilling trail super shoe for runners who fit its narrow profile and intended terrain, but we think it's ultimately a shoe you buy more with your heart than your brain. »
