« We think the Altra Timp 6 is exactly the kind of update that longtime Timp fans wanted. We found in the lab that Altra improved the midsole foam, increased the room in the toebox, and paired the shoe with a Vibram Megagrip outsole. The ride remains natural, flexible, and easy to trust on long days outdoors. In our opinion, it works wonderfully as an all-purpose trail companion for runners and hikers who value a zero-drop design, although the price increase pushes it closer to the premium zone than we'd like. »
